What should a new client know about working with you?

My main priorities are validating your experience and allowing you to feel safe and comfortable during our time together. Every patient I work with is different, so my approach varies slightly depending on your personality and preferences. I believe in being transparent and genuine with my patients, with the hope that I can lead by example, and that you are willing to do the same. You know yourself best, so your input is important. I am here to help you find the strategies that work best for YOU and will provide you with all available resources in order to increase the likelihood of accomplishing all your goals. We are in this journey together, so I will be with you every step of the way.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I provide both structured and unstructured sessions, which primarily depends on the treatment modality we choose for your sessions. Some treatment approaches are manualized, and others will change from one session to the next. During our first session, we will establish goals, I will give you my recommendations regarding treatment approach, and we will discuss how often we will see each other. These things can always change, and I highly encourage you to express and concerns or ideas you have throughout our time together. Whatever works best for you is the route I will take, and while sometimes it may take a few sessions to figure that out, my goal is to figure it out together.
