“I've seen Dr Echeverry for about a year now and she's lovely. She's very thorough, never rushed, and always looks through the last appointment's notes to see what she needs to follow up on. Her post-lab notes are a tiny bit confusing but I'm sure I could write back in the future with any questions. She has a very pleasant, professional bedside manner.
The practice, MoM, is great and I've been a patient for maybe 6 years, but my last 2 GPs have left. I've seen 2 cardiologists there too. The scheduling staff is awesome and check-in is always easy and friendly, as is hematology next door.”

“I appreciated how the Dr. listened to my concerns, and took them seriously. I was there for three hours but I had my blood drawn in house, had an echocardiogram and ultra sound done all on the spot as well as my annual exam. I appreciated having everything right there and then and that I didn't have to go to many different locations for the specialists I needed. I did have a lot to discuss so there were a few items I feel we didn't get to like checking my ear, nose and throat or reflexes but I will ask for it during my follow up. Overall, I am very happy to have finally made it to them after hearing so many good things about it from family and friends.”

Routine Physicals to Cardiac Tests: Several patients reported that during routine, "free" annual physicals, they were pressured into undergoing cardiac tests, such as echocardiograms (ultrasound of the heart) and EKGs, even when young, healthy, and not displaying symptoms.

The doctor treated me very well, she was friendly, very clear, and direct with the information about the tests I was having done and the information I would receive after the results were ready. The lab staff were very kind and friendly.
The customer service or reception staff should be a little more tactful when dealing with patients. Honestly, when I arrived and was attended to, I was thinking of never going back to this provider.

My only negative is that Medical Offices of Manhattan has a $150 penalty fee for cancelled appointments within 48 hours.

Dr Echeverry went above and beyond to understand my prior medical history, even though is from Brazil. She listened to all my concerns and read (in Portuguese) some of the results of prior tests I had done recently. She also requested follow ups with other doctors and tests. She calmed me, since I was nervous going to the doctor for the first time in English and in the US. And she was able to explain to me what would be covered by my insurance and what wouldn't.
Would recommend her 100%, specially for people from out of the US.

I ended up seeing a different provider than I booked on here at a time that was much less convenient for my schedule. It was kind of a frustrating experience because I waited for nearly 2 hours just to be told to make a follow up appointment in a few weeks. It felt like the doctor/staff didn’t really care how much of my time they took up and were dismissive of my concerns.
