About Dr. Taylor Brooks

He is a member of Church at the Cross and is privileged to serve their church family as an Elder. To relax, he enjoys kayaking, woodworking, and guitar.

I often don’t feel listened to when I go to the eye doctor. I have weird things going on with my vision and often I’m told that what I want to do with my eye needs isn’t legitimate.
For some reason the Rx I choose for my contacts during the vision exam isn’t quite right when I actually put my contacts in. I asked for help to try a stronger contact Rx than what the exam said I wanted and explained why and was met with support to ensure my vision was absolutely what I wanted and needed. I felt SO heard.
Additionally, because my Rx is quite strong, I have trouble going from close up (like my phone or a book) to far away. He recommended me with a whole new lens type that made an enormous difference to my day to day life while working at a desk. He was transparent that the lenses I was selecting were pricy, but worth it if you wear glasses most of the time.
Lastly, his staff was kind, helpful, and not pushy. I didn’t find any frames I liked there and no one pushed anything on me.

The office was nice and clean. I was glad they were able to accommodate me coming in a hr or so before my scheduled appointment since I was already in the area. Only hiccup was a misquote. All and all I Would recommend them and book again.
