What should a new client know about working with you?

People come to therapy because they want the kind of experience and advice they need to make important changes in their lives. I know a key ingredient in making that happen for you is having a good working relationship between the therapist and the client. For that reason, I strive to offer advice in a straightforward fashion in a spirit of compassion and support. These effective strategies have been helping my clients achieve greater happiness and success in life for over twenty years.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy is a courageous choice—and it works best when you feel safe and seen. That’s what I aim to offer from the very first moment we connect: real conversation, grounded support, and zero judgment. You won’t find psycho-babble here. I’m practical, thoughtful, warm, and straightforward. My clients know me as someone they can count on—not just to listen, but to really help. If you’re navigating stress, sadness, stuckness, or a life transition that’s left you unsure of what comes next… you don’t have to do this alone. I work with adults in Oregon and Washington via secure telehealth—bringing therapy right to your space.
