About Dr. Thaddeus Potocki

Dr. Potocki graduated from Life Chiropractic College West with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in June 1989 and was awarded the Clinical Excellence citation for his skills as a chiropractor. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, earned in 1981. Born in Detroit, Michigan, on his mother's birthday, October 6, Dr. Potocki learned early about serving the public from his father, a firefighter and national guardsman. The year 1976 was transformational for him: he graduated from Notre Dame College Preparatory High School and enrolled at Eastern Michigan University. Unfortunately, shortly after, his father passed away. He stayed home with his family and attended a local junior college. In 1978, he relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he studied electrical engineering and tennis. At one point, a professional tennis career seemed possible, but a knee injury changed that path. After graduating with his engineering degree, he moved to San Diego. Years of sports had taken a toll, and in 1982, his orthopedic doctor recommended surgery on his lower back. Fortunately, two weeks before surgery, he visited a chiropractor for the first time, and the surgery was canceled. This experience inspired him to pursue chiropractic care. In 1986, he began his chiropractic training at Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco Bay Area. Since graduating, Dr. Potocki has had successful practices both in the Bay Area and in his current home of Folsom.
