Dr.Tree earned her undergraduate degree in nutrition from Cornell University , and her Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. She established Montpelier Family Chiropractic in 2005. Since then she has been actively involved in the community including serving on the boards of the Beaverdam Ruritan Club, and the Montpelier Center for the Arts & Education.
