About Dr. Thor Bostrom

Dr. Thor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Brigham Young University–Idaho, located in the southeastern part of the state, where he fell in love with Idaho's wide-open spaces and wild sense of freedom. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, OR. Alongside his doctorate program, Dr. Thor completed a Master's degree in Sports Medicine and a second bachelor's degree in Human Biology. Having worked in various practice settings, both low and high volume, Dr. Thor understands the importance of thorough, personalized care delivered in a convenient and relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Thor moved to North Idaho in October 2021, and both he and his family are grateful to return to this wonderful state, which they now proudly call home. Personal Background Dr. Thor lives in Coeur d'Alene with his wife Brittany and their son Keagan, who just started kindergarten this school year. His family enjoys kayaking, fishing, visiting parks, camping, or simply snuggling on the couch watching a good movie. Growing up in the Seattle area, Dr. Thor has always appreciated the tall pines and beautiful mountains of the Northwest. He began hunting and backpacking in college and, while he still has much to learn, he's always eager to talk about anything outdoorsy. Dr. Thor also believes strongly in the power of exercise, especially resistance training, and how it can help many people-particularly those with a few more miles on the odometer-improve their function and quality of life. He enjoys helping people discover that lifting weights isn't just for buff guys and athletes but is accessible and beneficial for everyone.
