About Dr. Tim Baird
Tim Baird, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN in Jacksonville, FL. He has over 40 years of experience in the medical field. Dr. Baird received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. His interests include gynecologic ultrasounds, high-risk obstetrics, and menopausal issues for women. He has held teaching positions at the University of Florida (Jacksonville campus) and at the Mayo Clinic where was the Chair of the Obstetrics division and educator for Family Practice. Dr. Baird is also a member of the Florida Society of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Florida Medical Association, and Duval County Medical Society. He has a special interest in the medical device industry and has founded Intrapartum, LLC. Intrapartum, LLC is dedicated to “Bringing Science to the Art of Obstetrics” by developing technologies to accurately assess cervical dilatation in pregnancy.
Dr. Baird enjoys staying fit, playing tennis and golf, improving as an amateur chef, traveling, and grassroots politics.

I came in for a pregnancy confirmation. The physician listened to my whole hormone imbalance journey and PCOS issues. He took the time to explain in detail what the visit was going to look like and the results of the tests. Im definitely going back! There is some more testing to be done but im glad of finding him to be my physician for my first pregnancy!

Dr. Baird saw me within 10 minutes and actually apologized for keeping me waiting! I typically wait 45 minutes at other doctor's offices. Dr. Baird is also a great listener, and I felt like he cared about what I was telling him about my symptoms. He was considerate, and didn't brush me off at all. He is a great doctor!

Dr. Baird is truly exceptional. He takes the time to listen to concerns and make recommendations by informing the patient about options available. He takes the time to know the patient's prior history before the visit, which makes me feel valued and heard. He is also keeping pace with changes in medical care and expresses empathy. The entire clinical staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I'd definitely recommend Dr. Baird without question.

All of my questions related to menopause and what I have been experiencing were answered with explanation and patience. I have been struggling for years to get some answers to my symptoms to improve my quality of life and better health. Several other providers at other institutions have been dismissive, mocking in some cases and overall, unhelpful. Dr. Baird looked at the results of an MRI that I had 2 years ago and discovered that no other provider had acted on a benign finding that is the likely cause of my symptoms of pain, pressure and irregular bleeding. I now have answers and a course of action to resolve the problem thanks to Dr. Baird. I am very grateful to have not been ignored this time and appreciative of his knowledge, time and patience.

Went back to see Dr. Baird after leaving town 10 years ago. Was never able to find a Gyn in my new city who was as kind, patient, and thoughtful about my care as he consistently was. Dr. Baird has treated me ever since 1984. He is the best and on top of everything new in his field. Within the past week, I had a scare after my yearly routine mammogram. He and his wonderful & calming nurse, Connie, made sure I got this tended to right away @ Hill Breast Center. Biopsies were done there yesterday at HBC, San Marco. Connie called me today with great news regarding benign breast lab results! She is so sweet, laidback and surely helped me before this good news. Then, she delivers the best Christmas present ever today with my “blessed” results. Dr. Baird would only have the best nurse. She is surely that! He is the best doctor I’ve ever had. If only more physicians listened and cared like him, it would be great. His astute, affable and easygoing demeanor makes all the difference. He is the pinnacle in his field without a doubt!

I started going to Dr. Baird based on his positive reviews. It was one of the best decisions I've made. He seems to be one of the few doctors left who cares about his patients and doesn't simply see them as a number, but as people. He treats everyone the way he'd want his mother, wife or daughter treated. He is also highly skilled and knowledgeable. At the same time he is humble enough to let his patients make their own decisions about their health and he doesn't push expensive treatments.
