About Dr. Timothy Wright

Dr. Timothy Wright grew up in Iowa, but moved to Texas as fast as he could. In 1982, he graduated summa cum laude from Iowa State University in Construction Engineering. He moved to Dallas, Texas and after a few years of working in construction, he decided to return to school. He earned Class Valedictorian honors from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1991. Dr. Wright has special interest and expertise in contact lens fittings, LASIK preoperative care, and management of ocular disease diagnosis and treatment. He has a strong following of patients who appreciate his listening and accurate prescribing skills. When not in the office he enjoys riding his scooter, hosting Airbnb guests, and crafting wood and steel projects.
