“I had a great experience at the doctor.! I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately they canceled the first appointment I booked without warning. This was my only unsatisfactory experience with the office. (Details below)
After I booked on Zocdoc, they called 10 minutes later to get more information (insurance info ). I said I couldn’t provide it then but I would call back. I called back three days later (still 4 days before my appt.) and provided the info. They told me I would be receiving a confirmation in email.
10 minutes later I checked my email to see zocdoc sent me a message earlier that morning with a notification “your appointment has been cancelled by the provider”. I was so confused! I called back the provider... and it was like my phone call earlier that morning didn’t even happen.
On this phone call, they offered me other appointment times (only 2 other options in the next 2 weeks.) I was able to reschedule my appointment and successfully complete the visit.
However, I wish they would have called me before they cancelled my appointment.”

“Standard visit and office with helpful staff members. Based on one visit, the office seemed busy with many back-to-back bookings. Sat in the waiting room for about 25 minutes and waited in the examination room for an additional 10 minutes or so. Appointment itself was fast — Dr. Perkins seemed knowledgeable and provided useful information. Will likely return for follow-up visits.”

About Dr. Todd Perkins

Dr. Perkins is a native Washingtonian. He graduated with a B.A. from Tulane University and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Drexel University (formerly Hahnemann University) with honors. He completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Perkins combines his clinical practice with weekly academic training of dermatology residents at the Washington Hospital Center, where he is a staff attending dermatologist. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and the Board of National Medical Examiners.
Metrodermdc also offers patients a full range of aesthetic services. Appointments can be made with Olga Rodriguez, our licensed aesthetician, for microdermabrasion, facials, chemical peels, and cellulite reduction treatments. All aesthetic services are supervised by Metrodermdc's board-certified dermatologists.
