I completed my master’s degree at Pepperdine University and received my doctorate degree from Illinois Institute of Technology. My training includes an internship at the Federal Correctional Complex – Butner, and a post-doctoral fellowship at Boston University that focused on multi-cultural psychology. My career has included work for many years in forensic psychology and correctional psychology, where previous roles included unit director and lead psychologist. I am CCHP- MH certified. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to guide my clients through the therapeutic process. With experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma, I can assist individuals in their journey to improved mental health. My approach is a strength-based approach that consists of teamwork, collaboration and support. My outside interests include yoga, travel, and rescuing dogs.
