About Dr. Trocon Davis
Dr. Davis is a non-operative orthopedic specialist who developed an interest in medicine from his experiences dealing with injuries as a high school and college athlete. He studied Psychology on a pre-med track at Princeton University where his mentors encouraged him to pursue a career in primary care sports medicine. He received his MD from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and completed a residency in Family
Medicine at Lancaster General Hospital in Lancaster, PA.
He completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital, gaining further expertise in the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries in adult and pediatric populations. He is trained in the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound for point of care diagnosis and procedural guidance, including corticosteroid injections, Platelet Rich Plasma injections and percutaneous tenotomy. He has experience as a member of the medical staff covering numerous mass participation endurance events and working with teams at the high school, collegiate, and professional level, including the
University of Delaware’s Division 1 Football team, Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union.
Throughout these career experiences, he has built a strong foundation providing compassionate, patient centered care to a wide variety of patients. He is most interested in
using his knowledge and skillset to help everyone from the professional athlete to the recreational runner to the individual struggling with a chronic degenerative condition find a way to achieve improvement in their quality of life.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Davis. He was extremely prompt, very well educated, and took the time to truly listen to the issues I’ve been having with my back pain. His kindness and patience made me feel comfortable and understood. The two receptionists were also wonderful — friendly, efficient, and very helpful with checking me in and scheduling my follow-up appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Davis and will definitely be returning.

From the moment I walked into New York Spine & Joint, I knew I was in the right place. The front desk team, Anny and Pooja, are absolute angels. Warm, welcoming, genuinely caring. They greet you like they’ve known you forever, and they set the tone for the whole visit. No cold, clinical energy here it feels supportive the second you step through the door.
Dr. Davis, deserves his own standing ovation. He is phenomenal, patient, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. His bedside manner is honestly some of the best I’ve experienced. He actually listens (rare, I know!), never rushes you, and makes sure you understand everything clearly. You can tell he takes real pride in his work and in helping his patients feel better and stay informed.
The entire facility runs smoothly, the staff communicates well, and you feel taken care of every step of the way. Appointments are on time, the space is clean and inviting, and everyone seems committed to giving you the best possible experience.
