About Dr. Tyler Leitzke
Dr. Tyler Leitzke graduated from the University of Delaware in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Behavior Science and a minor in Strength and Conditioning before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in 2021. His understanding of injury prevention and musculoskeletal rehabilitation comes from a diverse range of educational and professional experiences. Dr. Leitzke has worked training athletes and individuals, performing corporate health screenings, and in multiple chiropractic offices as an exercise rehabilitation technician and chiropractic assistant.
Growing up with the positive influence and exposure to the chiropractic profession through his father, Dr. Andrew Leitzke, Dr. Tyler Leitzke also credits much of his passion for high-quality health care to a volunteer opportunity with a non-profit organization called Lori's Hands. This organization allowed him to make weekly visits to local community members with various chronic illnesses. These visits varied depending on the client but generally involved assisting with housework, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other household tasks. This experience deepened his understanding of living with chronic illness and strengthened his passion for helping people overcome health challenges to regain control over their health and wellness while unlocking greater potential and quality of life.
Dr. Leitzke has helped patients recover from a variety of neuromusculoskeletal ailments through chiropractic care combined with stretching and exercise techniques. His experience includes working with patients dealing with ligament sprains, muscle strains, disc herniations, whiplash, neuropathy, radiculopathy, headaches, back pain, neck pain, arthritis, and tendinopathies.
