About Dr. V. Davis Dhas
Davis Dhas, MD, is a board-certified ob-gyn in St. Augustine, Florida. Dr. Dhas received his medical degree from the European Albert Szent-Gyorgyi Medical University in Szeged, Hungary. Prior to starting his residency in obstetrics and gynecology, he went on to complete a Family Medicine Internship at Maine-Dartmouth Family Practice Residency. In 2009, he completed his residency at the Michigan State University affiliate in Saginaw, Michigan where he was chief resident.
Dr. Dhas promotes a conservative, evidence-based approach to patient care. When appropriate, he is an advocate of vaginal birth after prior C-section (VBAC). His clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for pelvic pain, uterine bleeding, prolapse, and incontinence disorders. He also has an interest in menopause disorders and preventative care.
Outside of work, Dr. Dhas is married and has one daughter. Since moving to Florida, his personal interests include fishing, golfing, traveling, and beach life.

Dr. Dhas is hands down the best OB in town. He takes his time with every patient. He listens and answers as many questions possible to make sure you understand your medical plan. Dr. Dhas and his staff really care about their patients health. Everyone there is friendly and makes you feel safe and confident.
They work hard on making you feel comfortable as possible, and get things done on a timely manner. I’ve never had to wait more than ten minutes to be seen. It’s nice having people show they care instead of feeling like your a McDonald’s drive through patient. I highly recommend this to office.

Amazing Dr. with superb bedside manner. As a first time mom with gestational diabetes I had my share of concerns. Dr. Dhas was amazing at explaining everything and always took his time, even when I came in unannounced with questions. His unparalleled dedication to the well being of the moms makes him the perfect fit for anyone who may need a bit of extra encouragement and reassurance. Furthermore his nurse Millie is fantastic and all of the office staff is welcoming and knowledgeable! I can’t wait for baby #2 it was such a great experience.

Dr. Dhas is so much more than an incredible OBGYN. He is kind, gentle and most importantly believes that your care is a collaboration between his medical expertise and Expertise about your body. I have had 3 babies, 4 pregnancies, and a history of ovarian cysts. His patience his expertise and his wonderful care — by far my favorite OB! Truly a gift!
