About Dr. Valerie Figueroa-Sanchez

Dr. Valerie Figueroa is a Chiropractor serving patients at Pro-Care’s South San Antonio clinic. As a retired competitive gymnast, she understands the impact injury and pain can have on an individual. Dr. Figueroa believes in the power of adjustments combined with rehabilitative modalities to achieve fast healing and to get her patients back to what they love the most. She specializes in Diversified Technique, Applied Kinesiology, and is Activator-certified. Dr. Figueroa has extensive knowledge in treating headaches/migraines, supportive care for neurological disorders, acute injuries, and wellness care. She is passionate about helping her chiropractic patients in San Antonio on their new journey to a pain-free, functional lifestyle to improve their quality of life. Dr. Figueroa was born and raised in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She studied at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico before moving to Texas where she started chiropractic school at Parker University in Dallas, TX. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University and is currently working on her Master of Clinical Neurology at Parker University. She loves serving the amazing people of South San Antonio and the surrounding areas with chiropractic care. Dr. Figueroa is married and they have added two sweet kittens, Anakin and Leia, to their home. On the weekends you’ll find her rock climbing, enjoying sushi, or hanging out at a bookstore to fulfill her bookworm needs.
