As a second generation chiropractor, she is committed to promoting health and living a life without unnecessary drugs or surgery. Dr. Vanessa especially likes to take care of families! From "Cradle to Grave", as she puts it. Chiropractic care really starts at preconception. It's so important for a mom to be under care throughout her pregnancy, so she and baby can grow and develop at their best! Birth can be a pretty traumatic experience, so we like to check mom and baby as soon as possible. Kids are always taking spills and falls, so keeping them aligned throughout a lifetime is vital for proper development, learning, and growth. As children develop into adolescents, their bodies go through growth spurts, sports injuries, and maybe even car accidents! It's so important to get the whole family checked at every stage of development. As we enter the work force, our bodies are subject to repetitive "micro-traumas": receptionists with head tilted, hair dressers with the arms raised all day, being on our feet all day, sitting too long, plant workers doing the same motion over and over...these are just a few examples of how improper motion can effect us! What about stress?!? Job, relationship, financial, and even family stress can effect our mental and physical health as well.
