About Dr. Vaughnette Jones
Vaughnette Jones, M.D. is a Pediatrician with over 20 years’ experience in Pediatrics who is dedicated to providing care from newborns to teenagers. She is competent in diverse areas such as ADD, ADHD, ODD. She earned her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN and completed her internship and residency at The Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Jones has worked at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN as well as been in private practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania before moving here to Georgia. Dr. Jones, a native of Bermuda who enjoys the Arts including dance and museums.

This was an amazing experience! Though ZocDoc had some glitches, the office contacted me directly to ensure I was aware of all the necessary details and confirmed my appointment. The visit was wonderful from the entering the office and speaking with the staff to the visiting with the doctor and leaving. All in all, it was a great experience!!!

Dr Jones is awesome!!! My children have been seen by the same pediatrician for 18 years. Her friendly staff, quick service, and overall visit made me change my primary care provider to her office. She’s a really sweet person and showed the kids kindness and gentleness.

Dr.Jones was absolutely amazing, friendly and courteous. She listened to my concerns and worries. My son and I definitely appreciated her kindness and professionalism. Nurse Tammy was amazing as well and she definitely made us feel welcome. The checking process was by far the worst part of our visit. The appointment was scheduled the day before. At first the receptionist had some difficulties finding the appointment, but she eventually did find it. She then asked why we needed to see the doctor, I explained briefly why we were there. However that did not suffice she wanted a more detailed explanation. Our reason for the visit was sensitive, especially to my son. I did not feel it was appropriate to ask very specific and personal medical questions in front of other patients which she did. She then attempted to insist that my son was not going to be seen as they did not do those types of visits at 11am. It was very uncomfortable and upsetting as we took the day off to get this appointment, I also specified exactly what we needed when I scheduled the appointment. Again this was the worst part of the visit, Dr. Jones and Nurse Tammy more than made up for the front desk experience. They were exceptional and I would recommend them to other parents. It would not be fair to judge them based on one person.

The front desk staff were knowledgeable but very cold and unfriendly. One of the young ladies never acknowledged me and I was standing right In front of her! The other young lady who was sitting next her was the one to actually greet me and my daughters and assist us with getting checked in. The back office staff were cordial, super professional and nerve calming. I love bringing my Daughters to Dr. Jones. I’d follow her anywhere in the state of GA for treatment for my girls. Thanks Dr. Vaughnette Jones.
