About Dr. Vicky Vu
Dr. Vicky Vu has worked with the Monocle team since we opened our doors and joined us as a full-time doctor in 2022. Drawing on her robust expertise in a range of optometry settings, Dr. Vu's approach to eye health embodies her firm belief that preventative eye care is the key to a lifetime of healthy eyes and vision.
Dr. Vu earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston. She is a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. She practices full-scope optometry, diagnosing various diseases and disorders of the visual system as well as treating eye infections, ocular diseases, and injuries. She also enjoys fitting contact lenses and co-managing LASIK and cataract surgeries.
Dr. Vu is board certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Texas Optometry Board. She is a member of the Harris County Optometric Society, the Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.
When Dr. Vu is not at work, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. She is a resident of Bellaire and enjoys being involved in her local community.

I had a wonderful experience during my annual visit with Dr. Vu today! She conducted a very thorough examination and took the time to clearly explain any changes in my eye exam.
On top of that, she celebrated another accomplishment in my life with champagne, which again, made the visit very special. I truly appreciate her attention to detail, care, and personal touch!
