This early experience planted the seed for her future career. In high school, she participated in basketball, soccer, and track, seeking chiropractic care for sports-related issues. The holistic, natural approach deeply resonated with her. She initially pursued a pre-veterinary degree but allergies to animals changed her path. Recalling her chiropractic care, she shifted focus and earned a Bachelor's in Biology with a Coaching Endorsement from Briar Cliff University. She then earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2010. Dr. Lau began her career in Perham, Minnesota, emphasizing holistic family care. Her practice flourished until a 2019 diagnosis of Chronic Lyme Disease halted her work. Antibiotics helped somewhat, but herbal treatments led to a remarkable health improvement. Despite challenges, Victoria's determination led her to research Lyme disease and oxidative stress. In 2022, a friend's challenge inspired her recovery and a focus on Functional Medicine-addressing health at its roots. Outside practice, family is paramount.
