About Dr. Vinay Chopra

Dr. Vinay Chopra is a concussion and brain injury specialist, and is board-certified and fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, and medical degree with honors from Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, and completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at Morristown Medical Center Atlantic Health, in affiliation with the prestigious Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He has experience with professional athletes and has worked as a team physician for the New York Jets football team during his fellowship. Dr. Chopra provides educational seminars to local teams and organizations. He is a Certified ImPACT Consultant (CIC) and certified to provide baseline and post-injury testing which include Neurobehavioral testing, Neuropsychological testing, ImPACT, and Biodex Biosway balance testing.
