Dr. Varela is exceptional! Despite being in pain her attentiveness and friendly demeanor put me at ease. She was thorough in her examination and asked questions without a hint of judgment. It's obvious that she really cares. I will definitely be returning to her for all my future eye needs. As a bonus the office was modern and clean and I had no wait time.

I went to Dr Varela for a suspected eye infection. She was so kind and helpful in figuring out the problem which ended up requiring a topical steroid. I have a lot of allergies to things that are often in ointments and Dr. Varela went out of her way and took the time to research to find a topical I wouldn’t be allergic too. I had previously had my annual eye exam earlier this year with a different optometrist but I will definitely be switching to her when I am up for my next annual.

My experience was excellent! Dr. Varela was very friendly, patient, and thorough. She’s very knowledgeable and I’m happy with how my appointment went and my new prescription. I would recommend her to anyone! I would also mention that the front desk staff was also very friendly. As a whole, this office is fantastic and I will continue to come back!

A few months ago, I had an eye exam, a contact lens exam, and ordered a one-month supply of lenses at another place. This time, I visited this place and had the same eye and contact lens exams but did not order any lenses. However, the cost was five times higher.
The optometrist was very knowledgeable and kind, and the interior was clean and pleasant. However, due to the price issue, I plan to continue going to the first place I visited. I used the same insurance, so I don’t understand why the cost was so different.

Very pleasant experience with this Doctor, though she is young and just started in 2023, knows her stuff and very proficient. Great bedside manner and exceedingly friendly. The office staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside is that one of their machines was not working and so I was not able to get some of the imaging that was I hoping for. Provided me with two weeks worth of samples in my new contact prescription to last me until new contacts come in ?

Viviana was nice but I will not be going back to this office. I did not need nor ask for a contact lens fitting, but was charged so at the end of my visit and unfortunately had to use the money my insurance was going to pay for new contacts or lenses to cover the "specialized fitting" I had. I was going in for glasses. At my appt, Viviana even said my contacts were not the right fit for me, but somehow I left with the same prescription I had started with... I felt as I was rushed because of another upcoming patient appt. I was disappointed that no one told me about the special price for contact fitting or even asked if that was what I wanted to have done that day because I would have said no - the office should have asked me, plain and simple. I have not had an eye appt in several years and should not be expected to know these things. So will not be returning and at least I now know the questions to ask my next eye dr.
