About Dr. Wagner Santiago

Dr. Wagner G. Santiago was born and raised in Miami, Florida where he graduated from Southwest Miami High School. He attended University of South Carolina at Spartanburg where he received a scholarship to play soccer. He then attended school in Jacksonville, Florida where he earned a respiratory therapy license. After several years, he decided to return to medical school where he graduated with honors from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in North Miami Beach, FL earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). He completed a three-year podiatric surgical residency at Podiatry Hospital of Pittsburgh and West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The training was inclusive of exposure in all areas of foot and ankle surgery, including forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive procedures and diabetic limb salvage. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He also is a member of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society.
