About Dr. Whitney Dunn
Dr. Dunn joined Northwestern Women’s Health Associates in 2018. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training at Loyola University Medical Center, where she was recognized for excellence in teaching in both 2017 and 2018. During her time there she was also awarded the Magis Star for outstanding patient service and care. She completed her MD at Case Western Reserve University and received her BS with Honors at Michigan State University with dual majors in Human Biology and Psychology. As a general obstetrician and gynecologist, her goal is to provide excellent patient-centered care for women of all ages and to provide the resources they need to lead a healthy life. I’m older. I’m past the child bearing years but I’m still in need of preventative care especially with my family history. I was nervous but I always am when I have an appointment. Dr. Dunn was wonderful. Took time with me, explained things to me and really put me at ease. Shes very knowledgeable
Compassionate and kind. I chose well and I don’t think I will be nervous next time. All staff members were great too.

Dr. Dunn was fanatic but the rest of the appointment was terrible experience. I got there 20 minutes appointment but wasn’t see till 1hr 10 mins later just because the tech was training someone who couldn’t take me in right away. It turns out the doctor was free this entire time that she could have done the tech job which was to check my weight , blood pressure and change the paper sheet on the table I was suppose to use which would have taken less then 5 mins. When the tech showed up she was very unpleasant no eye contact, and repeated the same question that was already asked and only spend less than 3 minutes with me. I waited longer than I was seen by my entire visit. Overall, Dr. Dunn was wonderful but the entire experience with the wait time and staff was awful.
