About Dr. Wilbur Meredith

Dr. Ryan Meredith was raised in Cleveland Ohio where he went to Lakewood High School. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1984 with a BA in sociology and a minor in chemistry. He graduated with departmental honors in sociology. Dr. Meredith then went to the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated in 1988. Following this, he did a two-year surgical foot and ankle residency in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated in 1990. He served as Chief Resident in his final year of residency. Dr. Meredith joined Gastonia Foot and Ankle Associates in August 1990 became a partner in 1992. Dr. Meredith has served as President of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society and is also President of the Gastonia Jaycees. In his spare time, he enjoys exercise, reading, traveling, boating and time with his family.
