Dr. Foos received his undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He obtained his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After completing his internship and ophthalmology residency at George Washington University in Washington, DC, he went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he was the first doctor to implant a toric intra-ocular lens (an astigmatism correcting intra-ocular lens) in a child. Dr. Foos is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, fellowship trained in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus, and the diagnosis and treatment of Adult Cataracts. He is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus as well as the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Outside of work he enjoys singing and theatre, bringing creative and connection to all aspects of his life.
