About Dr. William Hansen
Dr. William M. Hansen earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York. He is a board-certified foot surgeon, a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Hansen continues to stay active in medical education and serves as an attending podiatric surgeon at both New York Hospital of Queens and Flushing Hospital.
Dr. Hansen began private practice in Flushing, Queens, in 1988 and has maintained his dedication to the community ever since. He offers high-quality professional service in a modern facility.
Dr. Hansen's philosophy is to evaluate each patient as a unique individual to better understand, diagnose, and treat their foot complaint. He focuses on the patient’s lifestyle, activities, and past history to achieve the best outcome.
In his spare time, Dr. Hansen enjoys spending time with his family and the outdoors: ocean swimming, skiing, and running with his dog, a black Labrador named Bubba.

I went to Dr Hansen for a bunion! Turns out it wasn't. Dr Hansen took a x-ray of my foot and he explained in detail what the issue was and recommended insoles to wear in my shoes. I left totally satisfied because I was prepared to do surgery lol. Thank God I didn't have to. Highly recommend Dr Hansen

The doctor was great. The weight was a little long, but the secretaries called me back when my appointment was ready. The doctor was able to remove a deep splinter from my foot and bandaged me up. Would go back again.
