Dr. William Aloysius Healy III is an orthopedic surgeon with over twenty years experience. He obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College. In order to gain practical expertise, he went on to pursue his internship at the University of Hawaii. He went on to his orthopedic residency at SUNY Stony Brook. Dr. Healy III is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in Total Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine. He holds active memberships in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Irish American Orthopaedic Society and the Eastern Orthopedic Medical Society. He continually keeps himself up-to-date on the most progressive techniques available. Dr. Healy III has offices in the towns of Huntington and Smithtown, NY. Besides attending to patients at Northwell Orthopaedic Institute, he is also available for consultations and examinations at Huntington Hospital.
