About Dr. Winona Tse

Dr. Tse earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the Brown University Program in Liberal Medical Education in 1991, and then graduated with an M.D. degree from SUNY Stony Brook Medical School in 1995. Dr. Tse completed a neurology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in 1999, and in the final year served as a Chief Resident. She then completed a fellowship in electromyography at the New York-Cornell Presbyterian Medical Center. She worked at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn from 2000 to 2002, where she saw a variety of movement disorders. As an Associate Professor of Neurology in the Mount Sinai Movement Disorders Center, Dr. Tse sees patients with Parkinson's disease, tremor disorders, dystonia, spasticity and other movement disorders. She has over 15 years of experience in clinical trials in movement disorders. Currently, Dr. Tse is running clinical trials in the movement disorder center in the areas of Parkinson's disease, cervical dystonia, essential tremor and deep brain stimulation for movement disorders. Dr. Tse is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and a diplomate of the American Academy of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.

It felt like Dr. Tse had made her diagnosis before I entered the office. Several time an associate came into the office to talk about other patients. I felt hurried through the exam. It appeared that Dr. Tse had not looked at my records prior to the visit. She seemed confused about her prescription and ended up prescribing more than she intended.
