About Dr. Xinsheng Zhu
Dr. Zhu received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry. Before that, he was an Instructor at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Zhu also holds a PhD in Physiology from the University of Wisconsin Medical School at Madison. He graduated from Peking University in China with a Master’s degree before coming to the United States.
Dr. Zhu's top areas of expertise are pediatric optometry and contact lenses. He received his pediatric optometry training in the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology at the New England Medical Center and the New England Eye Institute at Perkins School for the Blind. His contact lens training was completed at the New England Eye Institute. Dr. Zhu worked as an independent Doctor of Optometry at National Vision Inc. before starting his own private practice in Newton and Marlborough.
Dr. Zhu has enjoyed becoming part of the communities of Newton and Marlborough and looks forward to continuing to serve the residents of these towns and their surrounding neighborhoods.
