About Dr. Yang Pan
Dr. Yang Pan received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with Cum Laude from SUNY Stony Brook University and obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from SUNY College of Optometry. Dr. Pan completed her internship trainings at SUNY Optometry in multiple specialties, such as pediatrics, vision therapy/rehabilitation, glaucoma, and dry eye. She also completed externship trainings focusing on primary care and ocular disease in Southern Arizona VA in Tucson, Arizona and Port Hueneme Naval Base in Oxnard, California respectively. After finishing her doctorate degree, she spent one year in Sierra Vista, Arizona where Dr. Pan completed her residency at the VA Sierra Vista Community Heath Care Center emphasizing in primary care and ocular diseases. She has presented posters at academic meetings and delivered a COPE-approved lecture. Dr. Pan takes special interests in the management and treatment of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration, primary care, pediatrics, and surgical co-management. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling and exploring new restaurants with friends. She is currently an active member of the American Optometric Association. She speaks fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
