I earned my PsyD in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University, which laid the foundation for my clinical expertise. I began my career at the Frost School in Rockville, Maryland, where I expanded my skills as a clinician specializing in anxiety, mood disorders, learning challenges, and developmental delays. I then transitioned to college counseling centers, helping young adults navigate the complexities of transitioning from adolescence to early adulthood. In these settings, I worked closely with LGBTQ+ communities on campus by offering support, empowering individual students through their identities, and advocating on their behalf as they faced the challenges of self-discovery and acceptance. I am a firm believer that therapy and healing are not always linear processes. My core philosophy as a therapist is meeting my patients “where they are.” We'll begin with an initial intake session where I gather detailed information about how you are doing, your background, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. From there, I tailor your treatment to meet your specific needs to best promote growth and healing. This can include fostering insight, working on symptom management, developing coping skills, and creating a healthy therapeutic relationship that allows therapy to feel like a safe space to be vulnerable and open.
