About Dr. Zachary Watkins

I founded the Livewell Clinic with the belief that a diagnosis should never define anyone's identity and that true solutions always begin with the person. My goal is to educate and equip clients with the tools they need to prevent disease and promote longevity, enabling them to lead intentional lives, become the person they have always intended to be, and positively impact others. I have always held the belief that “I am what I eat.” While I valued my many hours working in the hospital setting, I often witnessed patients struggling to improve or recover from preventable conditions like diabetes. As a functional medicine practitioner, I now apply every ounce of knowledge I have about root cause medicine to transform mindset, physical health, and overall quality of life. I strive to provide a healing and wellness environment through functional health care and a dedicated functional medicine program, where the focus is not solely on the doctor or provider but on a collaborative support team working together to promote wellness and prevention. I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University and hold a Bachelor's degree from Grace College & Seminary.
