The service was excellent, the front desk took my insurance and my ID and in no time I was ready to see the doctor, the pre test was super fast. My appointment took no more than 1 hour from time I came in and left.
Dr. Sisler is definitely a personality - some patients will be more amenable than others to the quirky office decor and old school techniques. But he will be my go-to eye doctor from now on. He has a half century of experience and does the job because he loves it. He is a get-things-done kind of doctor and treated my eye right away. 24 hours later and my condition is subsiding just as he told me it would. Make sure to ask questions if you’re unsure what’s going on-he’s more than willing to tell you.
I loved my visit with Dr. Dhar. I'm an anxious patient and she was incredibly kind and patient with me. She explained everything carefully and made sure I understood my results. Her office is very clean and peaceful. I'm so happy to have found her!
Before going with Dr. Chynn, I did extensive research ranging from lasik to prk and in different locations (I'm from VA), however at the end of the day, I still chose to get the procedure done here. Amongst Dr. Chynn's credentials and experience, there were also several reasons that steered me back. One of the most important was the safeness of the procedure-- I already have dry eyes and severe halos, I don't need anymore, and this procedure would completely eliminate them. In addition, to take care of my dry eye situation, I came in for punctual plugs (which didnt do much for me), but then again for them to cauterize my lower tear ducts. All of this was easy and (almost) painless, but most importantly, they took initiative to take care of my problems before the procedure. Another perk is that their finance guy, Tarek, will work with you to find ways to reduce the cost if necessary! I'm scheduled for my procedure in the next couple weeks! Wish me luck! My appointment was at 2 pm, I called and spoke with Paula to see if I could be seen sooner. She said, I'll check with the doctor, she called me back and said the doctor can see you at 1:15pm, I was very appreciative! Both Doctor and Paula were very professional.

The doctor, assistants and all staff were very friendly, had excellent bedside manners and the place is clean and modern, with a short wait time overall. I had concerns about getting any tests done that would not be covered by my insurance and they verified that I was covered before getting started. I would definitely recommend this practice!
Doctor John Pilavas is an amazing doctor who i will always go for my vision care. Excellent performance and bedside service!!! I got 20/20 vision and had a painless recovery process for lasik. Overall, he is truly a very cordial/caring doctor, thorough in examinations, and professional in all areas. I'm the type of person who will go for miles to see my trusted doctors, so I sincerely recommend anyone to see him, especially if you are in the neighbor.
