Abraham Awais, LMSW

Abraham Awais, LMSW

Psychotherapist
7233 E Baseline Rd, Mesa, AZ
Hi! Each of us walks our own path. The majority of my experience includes working with adults dealing with anxiety, childhood trauma, and depression. I work primarily from a trauma-informed perspective and help clients reconnect and build relationships with all parts of themselves. Other areas of exploration include grief and loss, relationships, stress, childhood abuse and neglect, and psychosomatic symptoms. As a first-generation Middle Eastern, I wholeheartedly understand adverse experiences and systemic oppression that many culturally diverse communities have grown up around. I often use Internal Family Systems, Person-Centered, and Psychodynamic approaches in my work with clients. I am also heavily influenced by Jungian Analysis and value the analysis of dreams throughout therapy. I believe understanding and processing the past with compassion and deep curiosity is the key to living with fulfillment in the present. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to support clients on their healing journeys. I am honored to walk beside your path to healing and self-realization. I am happy to help answer any questions you may have. Feel free to reach out and schedule a consultation if you're interested in working with me.
