As a psychodynamic and trauma-focused therapist, I help young and emerging adults navigate through trauma resolutions, depression, codependency, life transitions, minority stress, and relationship or family issues. My specialties are in attachment and trauma, ensuring a humanistic and holistic approach that focuses on your inner strength and growth throughout different aspects of life. I look forward to empowering you in our work together. *I am fluent in Spanish with a Mexican background, and am available and comfortable to conduct sessions in Spanish.

What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: not accepting Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist began during my year as a teaching assistant in a Chicago public school, where I provided educational and Social Emotional Learning to 6th graders. This experience taught me the value of providing authentic, representative, empathetic, and strength-building care for adolescents and young adults, while deepening my commitment to bringing a cultural and community-based approach to each session.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our time together, you are empowered to heal in a supportive and safe environment, with a partner who believes in collaboration, empathy, and healing through evidence-based techniques. My style is warm, supportive, and collaborative, and tailored to your unique lived experience. Care includes psychodynamic and EMDR therapy to help you process past beliefs to strengthen current and future beliefs.
