Alicia Richmond, LCSW

Alicia Richmond, LCSW

Psychotherapist
NY
I am a combat veteran and have been a therapist for over 20 years. I attended Adelphi University in Garden City, where I earned my Master's in Social Work. After graduating, I worked at a local hospital for 12 years and maintained a thriving private practice specializing in at-risk adolescent therapy for 12 years. In 2012, I joined the US Army, where I was privileged to serve as both a Soldier and a therapist for six years. I continue to work with Soldiers and combat veterans, specializing in the treatment of trauma. I utilize evidence-based treatments, specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as others such as CPT, CPT-I, PE, and CBT, to help individuals work through life experiences that have shaped negative thought patterns and move toward a more positive thought process.
