“Alyshia has been a huge part of my healing journey. From the first session, I felt truly seen and understood. She brings a calm, steady presence and really tailors each session to what I need—whether we’re working through anxiety, past trauma, or big life shifts. Her mix of ACT, psychoeducation, and even book recommendations has helped me make real progress. I’ve learned how to better understand my emotions and take care of myself in ways I never had before. Getting to know Alyshia Collins

Are you feeling bad about your bad feelings? Let's talk about it in a safe, judgement-free space. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Washington State, I offer a personalized, collaborative, and integrative approach to therapy tailored to the unique needs of each individual. My foundation in educational policy, leadership, and social justice from the University of Washington for my bachelor’s degree, followed by a Master’s of Education in School Counseling from the University of Southern California, serves as a multifaceted backdrop to my career transition into mental health counseling.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Trauma-informed practice allows individuals to acknowledge why their brains are reacting in specific ways while empowering the individual to find opportunities in correcting behaviors that align with their core beliefs and moral compass. I am committed to continuous professional development, recognizing the importance of self-improvement, just as my clients endeavor to enhance their lives. I believe in the transformative power of therapy to navigate life’s challenges and transitions. Together, we embark on a collaborative journey towards healing, self-discovery, and empowerment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in compassion and a person-centered approach, which forms the cornerstone of my practice. I meet clients where they are in their journey, fostering a safe and supportive space for exploration and growth. I provide convenient and confidential services exclusively through remote HIPAA Compliant telehealth sessions.
