About Amy Wellington

Amy earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont. She brings several years of outpatient orthopedic experience in private practice and hospital based clinics. She is aquatic therapy certified from the Aquatic Therapy & Rehab Institute in Florida. Amy joined Peachtree Orthopedics in 2014 and is based at our Duluth clinic. She is excited to share the benefits of aquatic therapy with patients to enhance their rehab utilizing the healing properties of water such as buoyancy, hydrostatic pressure and resistance. She is married and has two teenage daughters. She enjoys outdoor activities and cooking for her family and friends.
