I would be so honored to create a space with you that is non-judgmental, strengths-based, and has moments of humor. My experience in schools, inpatient hospitals, and outpatient clinics has afforded me the opportunity to work with a variety of people going through interpersonal issues, transitional times, illnesses, and grief. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, which has further equipped me to support you on your journey. Let us begin at the story you wish to tell-I will listen.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I work from an empathetic, strengths-based perspective, and I believe that therapy should be a collaborative process. We will work together to find and leverage your strengths and help you progress towards your goals.

I was going through a lot which she was aware of and I missed one appointment and she discontinued our sessions. She also didn’t really give any helpful advice or any coping strategies and would refer me to her textbook pages when I had any questions.

Andrea is warm, authentic, and asks insightful questions that help unpack my thoughts and feelings. I appreciate that she makes space for hard stuff while also keeping some humor and realness. You can tell she is really listening and not just waiting for the session to end.

Andrea is such a wonderful and genuine person. Whenever I am in the same room as her, she has a way of knowing what are the right questions to ask me without making me feel uncomfortable. I never feel like Andrea is judging me. I always feel heard and supported.
