Getting to know Dr. Angelina Akhvlediani
Most of the clients I see are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship issues, and loss. I dedicated years of my clinical research to finding the best possible coping strategies for these conditions. I hold a PhD in Psychology from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Touro College and University System. In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps patients achieve personal growth and rethink or change the ways they approach different dilemmas. My clinical approach is not only to decrease the severity of current acute symptoms but also to help patients maintain a stable emotional state.
