What should a new client know about working with you?

I partner with clients in a supportive and collaborative way, working to tailor evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Habit Reversal Training, and mindfulness techniques to match your goals and needs. Bala CBT does not prescribe medication, we do not conduct testing/assessment, and we do not accept insurance. We are out-of-network providers.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Therapy with me blends structured, evidence-based care with warmth, respect, and cultural curiosity. I seek to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and understood. During the first few sessions, I work to learn more about what you are struggling with to be able to provide tailored psychoeducation and skills that fit your needs!
