Psychologist
OK
Life can feel overwhelming- whether you're struggling with anxiety, trauma, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder (or your next-door neighbor), my goal is to help you navigate challenges with understanding, compassion, and practical tools so you can move toward the life you want. My approach My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I meet you exactly where you are and walk alongside you as we clarify your goals and work toward meaningful change during our sessions. My focus I work primarily with adults who are navigating anxiety-like transitions, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. My focus is on helping you feel more confident, grounded, and capable of handling life's ups and downs and building a stronger sense of self. My communication style When you work with me, you can expect a safe, open, and non-judgmental space where your voice is heard and your experiences are valued. I listen carefully- not just to what you say, but to what you feel- and offer gentle, honest feedback that supports self-understanding and personal growth. We'll work at a pace that feels right for you My journey to mental healthcare From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a psychologist. I've always been fascinated by how our thoughts and emotions shape our lives, and I deeply believe that mental health is the foundation of well-being. My path into the mental health field grew out of a desire to understand people's experiences and to help them feel heard, seen, and supported. My goals for you We will use tools from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you build coping skills, challenge negative self-talk, and deepen your emotional awareness. Over time, you may notice feeling more hopeful, confident, and emotionally balanced. My first session with you I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating. During our first session, I'll take time to help you feel comfortable and to explain how the process works.
