Dr. Anne Frazier, DPT

Physical Therapist
2599 White Bear Ave N, Maplewood, MN
Annie moved to Minnesota after completing her doctoral studies in physical therapy. She was a scholarship dancer at the University of Kansas, where she majored in Health, Sport, and Exercise Science with a Pre-PT focus, and later earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Annie’s calling to women’s health began during PT school. She completed several internships and knew right away that she wanted to focus a significant portion of her work on women’s health physical therapy. After graduation, she worked as a general outpatient orthopedic therapist for eight years, gaining tremendous experience in all types of physical therapy while training and developing more expertise in women’s health. She received certifications in a number of different areas of specialization. Annie longed for a stronger focus on women’s health. She opened her own practice, where Minnesota Women’s Care found her and convinced her to join their team. About her specialization, Annie says: “Many pelvic conditions and dysfunctions result in the loss of basic functions and can greatly affect quality of life for many women. I love pelvic health rehabilitation because I get to help change the quality of women’s lives for the better. Also, for so long this population has been underserved in the rehabilitation world. As research continues to grow in this area, we are beginning to understand the vast benefits of conservative care for those suffering from pelvic dysfunctions. I feel many musculoskeletal injuries stem from having a weak core and or not understanding how to properly engage it. I love being able to help my patients develop a healthy core and pelvic floor and seeing the difference it makes in their life.”
