Whatever your reason for seeking therapy, I will meet you where you are with empathy and compassion. I create a safe and supportive environment and encourage my clients to express themselves authentically while utilizing this non-judgmental space. I strive to empower my clients with evidence-based tools and techniques that allow them to deepen their understanding of themselves and their relationships, foster growth and change, and reach a sense of fulfillment and purpose in their lives. I understand how unique each person is, so I make it a priority to identify individual strengths as we create the groundwork for productive and successful treatment.
I have experience working with adolescents and adults on a range of topics including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, sense of purpose, self-esteem, identity development, and navigating life transitions. I emphasize collaboration between myself and my clients to develop treatment plans and goals, maintaining that the therapeutic relationship must feel safe, trusting, and affirming for each person. Together, we will investigate patterns, call attention to ways of thinking that may do more harm than good, and identify and overcome roadblocks getting in the way of you reaching your goals. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Adelphi University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support my clients effectively.
