Ashley Fisher is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania with over 13 years of experience as a therapist. She graduated from Juniata College with her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) in 2011 and received her Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2015 from Shippensburg University. Ashley has had the opportunity to practice in various settings throughout her career with clients of all ages, in both mental health and substance abuse outpatient and inpatient settings. Ashley prides herself on being an LGBTQIA+, gender-affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming therapist. She enjoys working with the adult and elderly populations. Ashley is a warm, genuine, accepting, and empathetic therapist. She provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment to collaborate with clients in reaching their goals, exploring clients’ emotions and thoughts, and facilitating the building of self-awareness and self-compassion. Ashley uses a person-centered approach and strengths-based lens integrated with several evidence-based therapeutic approaches including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Comprehensive Behavioral Therapy (ComB), Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Culturally Sensitive, and Trauma-focused methods. She has specialized training to treat individuals who struggle with body-focused repetitive behaviors such as hair-pulling or skin-picking. Ashley also specializes in providing individual therapy to clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, autism, ADHD, OCD, hoarding, life transitions, family issues, substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, medical/health issues, and more. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys being outdoors, hiking, traveling, and camping. She loves spending time with her dog and cat, as well as with loved ones.
