Hi there, I'm Aubrey! Feeling stuck or overwhelmed? Struggling with the state of the world? You don’t have to navigate this alone. I provide a compassionate space tailored to support individuals facing these challenges. I know how exhausting it is to feel like you always want to fit into a mold that wasn't made for you. My focus I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, difficulties with self-esteem, transitional phases in life, social justice challenges, substance use, and the unique complexities of being neurodivergent. I welcome clients from all walks of life and offer a collaborative space where you can safely explore your unique challenges and grow. My approach In our sessions, you are the expert on your own life, and I'm here to walk alongside you with zero judgment. I draw from a mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), shifting to what you need in the moment—grounded in a person-centered, social justice framework. My communication style I prioritize warm, open communication that is comfortable and collaborative from the first session. In our sessions, there is no rigid script. You can expect a conversational space where you can speak freely without the fear of being judged. My goal is to make therapy feel less formal and more like a collaborative partnership where you feel heard. My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming a psychologist grew out of a lifelong curiosity about the mind and a commitment to social justice and helping others. Through my journey, I have found that people can heal when they feel heard, safe, and truly understood. I believe therapy is a place where you can truly unmask. My goals for you I view therapy as collaborative. We will set goals together that fit your desired outcomes and matter to you.
