My name is Austin Nielsen, DPT. I have been serving the people of Utah Valley as a Physical Therapist since 2017, and I am thrilled to serve you in the Saratoga Springs area. I believe in a balanced approach to physical therapy; personable but professional. I favor integration with movement versus isolation of movement, utilizing functional multi-planar patterns to address physical dysfunction. I use knowledgeable hands-on techniques to address current soft tissue, joint, and fascia symptoms and prescribe custom corrective exercises to address the root cause of your dysfunction. My goal is to help you create sustainable new habits so you can enjoy your newfound healthy function beyond discharge. From kids to seniors, I look forward to helping you with your therapy needs, including strains/sprains, joint issues, post-surgical rehabilitation and joint replacements, spinal injuries and radiating pain, sports injury and return to play, car accidents, work hardening, and personal injuries. I earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of the Incarnate Word and completed my undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Exercise Science. I have a sports background with an emphasis on football and weightlifting. I married my college sweetheart, Bre, and we have three kids. I am also a Spanish speaker.
