Austin was raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He attended the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay where he completed his Bachelors degree in Human Biology – Exercise Science. He went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison where he completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Austin participated in a variety of sports during high school including football, lacrosse, and swimming. He spent his fair share of time in the athletic training room and physical therapy clinic recovering from various injuries, which is where he was first introduced to physical therapy. Austin went on to swim collegiately at the division one level. He participated in swimming related research and several movement analysis related internships where he fell in love with the physical therapy profession. He has a wide variety of clinical experiences in orthopedics and sports medicine. Austin absolutely loves coming to work each day and helping patients achieve their functional goals. He has a passion for helping patients recover from orthopedic and sports related injuries. New to the Boise area, Austin enjoys hiking, cycling, swimming, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. He is a lifelong Wisconsin Badgers and Green Bay Packers fan. Austin is excited to be joining the Wright Physical Therapy team and the Boise community!
