What should a new client know about working with you?

Bill’s approach to therapy comes from a practical, client-centered orientation, informed by family systems therapy, psychodynamic theory, and trauma-informed therapy. His goal is to meet clients where they are through exploring their personal history and the context of the concerns/issues they bring to therapy. He provides a safe place to speak openly, honestly and without fear of judgement, supported by deep compassion, an unwavering belief in the resilience of the human spirit and the ability to change and grow.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Clients can expect a full intake process that examines multiple aspects of an individual’s life and history, experiences that have left significant impressions on the client, their strengths and challenges, and the ideal outcome from our work together.
