Getting to know Brenda Montero

"Hello, I'm Brenda. If there's one thing I find particularly bothersome, it's when people feel the need to judge others. I can tell you that will not happen should you consider working with me. I am here to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to work on healing yourself. The passion I have to help others allowed me to begin my therapeutic journey more than 17 years ago. Throughout the years, I have worked with children, adolescents, families, and adults struggling with mental health challenges. My experience has allowed me to focus on PTSD, trauma, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, relational issues, couples, marriage, and family therapy. Grief and loss are something we all go through, and I am here to help and support you through the process. I have additional experience working with those struggling with Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, and other forms of psychosis. The value and respect I have for each of my clients set me apart from all the rest. I am honest and nurturing with all individuals, no matter their differences. At the end of the day, you are the expert of your life, and I am just here to help guide the way to a place of healing. I hold a Master's degree (MA) and am a Licensed Professional Counselor.
